Can Face ID unlock a secret in an installed iOS web app, using only WebAuthn?




    
  
  1. Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen, then open it from the home screen.

  2. Check "Display mode" says standalone. Storage is separate from Safari, so enrol inside the installed app.

  3. Tap Reset, then Enrol (save to Proton Pass is fine), then Unlock. Note whether Face ID actually appears each time.
